Camp Life

Camping in the forest is an incredible experience. It is also tiring, uncomfortable and at times hilarious. After visiting the forest for a second time, we are starting to get a feel for camp life and what it means to be primate researchers.

What’s this I hear about chimps?

Sammy and I are moving to Rwanda for a year. For those who know us, a move to tiny, land-locked Rwanda might seem like a bad idea. You would struggle to find two people who love the beach (and Perth summers) as much as Sammy and me. Why would we want to live so far from the coast in the middle of Africa, you ask?

The short answer is chimps. The long answer, however, is so much more.
